This should be a little setup tutorial for using Primefaces and JSF2.

First the setup software:


Begin with creating a new Dynamic Web Project


Optional: In the next dialog just add a new runtime for the project ( in my case I will choose Wildfly Server Runtime)



and then finish the project


next step is editing the project facets and adding the java server faces facet. then click on further configuration

next will be to insert the jsf lib ( choose user library and download the mojarra implementation)


now finish the project facets.


Now say eclipse to convert the eclipse project to an maven one:

Now that we have an maven enabeld project we need to change the generated pom.xml to get rid of all the unnecessary stuff.
